Introduction
Vietnamese libraries network, namely Thuvien.net designed by Tinhvan Company is the first Portal (Information gate) of Vietnam’s library sector. It is an environment for cooperation among the leading libraries inside the country and bound to attract the cooperation from overseas ones.
After many years working as a partner of library community in technical field and the provision of the master management methods, Tinhvan has designed Thuvien.Net, a portal of Vietnam’s library sector not working for profit. It aims at accelerating the sharing of knowledge and experience among the libraries as well as linking online resources of the libraries and the associations working in this sector at home and abroad in service of Vietnam libraries community.
Member of Thuvien.net is provided with the services useful for their own libraries development. Becoming a member of Thuvien.net, they are offered a service to introduce themselves to others. Besides, they can share the directories with other members, download the list of directories in different forms, search for the whole text on the database of shared electric library of Thuvien.net or on all websites in Vietnam.
