In 2 days, July 2 and 3, 2013, the checking group of DAS-UKAS from UK re-appreciated information security management ISO/IEC 27001:2005 and quality management system ISO 9001:2008 in Tinhvan Group.

The meeting was attended by the steering committee of  Tinhvan Group, leader and relating personel, and 3 experts from DAS-UKAS including Mr. Ho Mi Nin – the leader, Mr. Nguyen Duy Hung and Mrs. Nguyen Huong Giang – evaluating experts.

In the opening ceremony, Mr. Pham Thuc Truong Luong – Vice Director of Product, International Relations and Quality Management of Tinhvan Group asked everyone who worked in the project to carry out to get the real and efficient results. The checking team was sure that they do their task determinedly and carefully to respond the level of quality management system ISO and information management system ISO/IEC 27001:2005 in Tinhvan Group.

After 2 working days, the team commented that operating departments in Tinhvan Group applied well the process of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 systems.

In the close meeting, Mr. Ho Mi Nin – the leader of checking team congratulated Tinhvan Group on receiving the certificate of the information security management ISO/IEC 27001:2005 again and defended successfully quality management system ISO 9001:2008. He said: “Tinhvan Group has strength to be a skilled and experienced QA team, dynamic and active managers and people understand the aspects of security. Besides that, Tinhvan Group took advantage of 9 years experience in integrating the standard of quality system ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005. We are quite impressed by the quality management system MIS (domestic information management system) in Tinhvan Group. However, the result gave some weakness in property management process and document management system”.

On behalf of Board of directors in Tinhvan Group, Mr. Nguyen Son Tung – vice director of administration and human resources gave the thanks to the team’s comment and advices. The company tried their best to improve quality management system as well as information security.

Tinhvan Group received the certificate of quality management ISO 9001:2008 in October 2009 (after receiving ISO 9001:2000 in October 2006) and the certificate of information security management ISO/IEC 27001:2005 in September 2010. Moreover, Tinhvan Group got the paper of CMMi3 – the certificate of capability maturity model intergration by Software Engineering Institude in USA.

DAS – Direct Assesstment Services is the best assessment organization in UK and confirmed by UKAS. The organization was allowed in Vietnam by Directorate of Standards, Metrology and Quality.
