On 08/112014, the 6th award ceremony of Ho Chi Minh City Information Technology – Communications (HCMC ICT) took place in Hall of Quang Trung Software Park. Tinhvan Technology Corporation (Tinhvan Group) with Electronic Library Solutions – Libol Digital Library 6.0 has become one of the firms receiving awards this year.
HCMC ICT Awards are held annually by the People’s Committee (PC) of city. This is a prestigious award in the field of ICT, awarded to agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals for their products, services and achievements which are typical contributed to the development of ICT in city. This year’s awards attracted 47 applications from individuals and businesses, in which 17 records were proposed by expert to award into groups including: enterprise with products and typical software solutions; Enterprises with typical hardware products; Enterprise added value with services supply; Units with typical ICT applications; Units and individuals with outstanding contributions to the development of the ICT of the city and ICT student with research achievement and academic excellence.

Attending this year’s awards with electronic solutions Library – Libol Digital Library, Tinhvan Group has become one of the four units was awarded “Enterprise with typical solutions and software products”. Being studied and developed since 1997 by Tinhvan Group, Libol has become the first software in country to set foot in the field of library management system development with the best ability to manage integrated library in Vietnam. Over 17 years of continuous development and improvement, so far, Libol has been used by more than 300 customers and tested practical in many leader units in library and information activities such as: Center of National Information l Science and Technology (Department of National Information Science and Technology), Ho Chi Minh City Science Library, Vietnam National University, Hanoi …
Since first being held in 2008, Tinhvan Group has received consecutive HCMC ICT awards over the years with many outstanding products such as: Portal Solution I; Overall Management Solutions for Human Resources HiStaff; Solution for Electronic Library – Libol Digital Library… Besides, with the record many bold imprint technology as well as a leader in many technology trends and IT products, providing important contributions for not only the IT industry but also for all social and other economic activities, Tinhvan also awarded gold medals for Vietnam units by Ho Chi Minh City Informatics Association since 2008.
With the award of 6th HCMC ICT, Tinhvan once again affirmed its position and its sustainable development in the field of solutions and software. At the same time, this result shows that the accuracy as well as the efforts of Tinhvan in focusing resources development in Ho Chi Minh city – a potential market of Vietnam.
