In 22/07/2014, E-Government Information System (EGIS)- Da Nang city was officially put into operation. With this event, Da Nang has become the first province using EGIS nationwide.

Mr. Pham Kim Son, Director of Danang Department of Information and Communications said: “At the end of 2013, Da Nang put into use of the modern ICT infrastructure system including: Urban Network, Data Center, Wireless Connection System, Centre for ICT Application Research and Training. And today, Danang continued to complete and put into operation of EGIS. This system consisted of database as foundation of population database, geographic information database, management information system, administration procedure database, and system of online public service.”

Attending the system inauguration in Danang, Minister Nguyen Bac Son said: “Putting Danang EGIS into operation has gained a considerable significance, proving the high feasibility of e-government construction at all levels. That is, the application of IT is really able to make the government closer to people for a better and better service. The result in Da Nang will certainly be a very useful experience for many other localities nationwide.“

EGIS put into operation in Da Nang will become an important platform to implement provision of online public services.

Danang’s EGIS is built on the platform of overall architectural framework of comprehensive and advanced e-government. In which, Tinhvan Technologies JSC is honored to be participate in implementing a number of important items, including Contact Center system, an important component in EGIS –Danang which helps to reform administrative procedures and implement multi-dimensional interaction with organizations and citizens in the first applied form of online exchange.
