In the evening of 12.03.2015, in Hanoi, Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Communications Director of Tinhvan Group representing for Tinhvan Group attended the event ICT At Mui Spring Meeting 2015. It is a discussion activity, the largest annual meeting of ICT world, with the collaboration of 12 ICT associations and clubs.
The ICT meeting witnessed the participation of Mr. Vu Duc Dam – Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman of the National Committee on IT applications; Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong – Deputy Minister of Ministry of Information and Communication and representatives of 12 ICT associations and clubs, and representatives of ICT businesses.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Vu Duc Dam highly appreciated the positive development of Vietnamese ICT community in recent years. Deputy Prime Minister outlined a number of highlights, especially the Decision of National Committee Establishment on ICT applications implemented by the Prime Minister and many Ministers. Afterward, with efforts of the National Committee on the ICT Application, Ministry of Information and Communication, Mode of IT service lease has been formed legally, supported by the Prime Minister which will promote ICT applications in State agencies, and create a wider market for IT and software enterprises.

In his speech, Deputy Minister Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong also shared significant important information: “On 11/03/2015, Ministry of Information and Communication received the document in writing from the Government Office on informing the Prime Minister’s comments that asked the Ministry of Finance undertaking with Ministry of Information and Communication, Ministry of Planning and Investment to propose tax policies in the field of IT in order to promote IT application development. Ministry of Information and Communication was discussing with the ICT associations on the same thinking to propose a rational tax policy in coordination with Ministry of Finance to submit to the Government or the National Assembly. It also showed the interest of the Government, the Prime Minister in IT applications through tax policy”. Deputy Minister Mr. Nguyen Minh Hong also appreciated the contributions of the ICT associations in feedback on policies, legal documents of the Government relating to the ICT industry.
