DAS-UKAS from the UK, on his visit, has conducted the asseements and inspection on ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/ IEC 27001:2005 from 23-2 Aug, 2011 at Tinhvan Group and the Group has been granted with certificates for these two ISOs.

This first assessment and inspection on integrability is joined by the Board of Management of the Tinh van Technologies Joint Stock Company- Tinhvan Group, managers of departments and concerned officers accompanied by two surveyors sent by the DAS-UKAS (Mr. Quach Thach Thi- team leader and Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang- surveyor).

At the meeting, the Board of Management of Tinhvan Group urged and insisted on the strict and serious assessments and inspections over concerned departments and centers according to reality for efficiency and good performance. At the same time, the surveyor’s team emphasized that the team would be serious and reliable for correct assessment according to standard criteria as specified in the ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/ IEC 27001:2005 systems.

During two working days 23- 24/8/2011, DAS-UKAS specialists carried out their fair assessments and the results have correctly shown compliance with requirements as specified in the Quality Management System and Information Security Management. Thus, departments and concerned centers of Tinh van Group have been assessed to apply working successfully procedures as compliant with requirements specified in the two ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/ IEC 27001:2005 management systems. On the other hand, DAS-UKAS specialists felt impressive with the Group’s quality management information system on MIS (Internal Management Information System) applied by the Tinhvan Group.

However, there are still shortcomings unveiled in the assessment conducted, which relate to records and documents management of the Group. Eager for learning, Tinhvan accepted recommendations and suggestions as well comments provided by the surveyor’s team and the Group agreed and decided to solve these problems to better and improve quality management and information security systems of the Group.

Tinhvan Group was granted and awarded with Certificate of ISO 9001:2008 in October of 2009 (before the Group was given with Certificate of ISO 9001:2000 in October 2006) as well as certificate of information security system ISO/ IEC 27001:2005 in 09/2010. Moreover, Tinhvan Group also holds a certificate of CMMi-3 on the procedure competence of software manufacture developed by the Softwware Engineering Institute (SEI) of America.
