Over the 3 days of propagating to support for the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster’s victims in Japan, Tinhvan Group’s Union has donated nearly 33 million VND.
Over the past many years, Japan is the largest sponsor for Vietnam in the field of infrastructure development and hunger alleviation. Each road, each bridge, each water and electricity we use everyday partly come from Japan’s ODA and especially with Tinhvan, Japanese businesses are always potiential and trustworthy partners.
Over the past days, the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster constinously devastated Japan from a beautiful country to the ruins. Nearly 10,000 people dead and other 16,000 people missing, hundred thousand people homeless, the total damage estimated up to 308 billion USD after these continuous catastrophes.
With the morality “drinking water memorizes its source” and the spirit of solidarity, Tinhvan Group’s Union lauched a campaign to raise money for Japanese people after the devastating natural disasters. On March 25th 2011, the total raising money was 32,719,000 dong after the 3-day campaign in which the money donated by the Union, Tinhvan Technology Joinstock Company, Tinhvan Telecommunications Jointstock company and Tinhvan digital joinstock comapnay, Tinhvan Business Management Consulting and Tinhvan’s branch in Hochiminh city were 10,000,000 dong, 12,750,000 dong, 5,793,000 dong, 3,001,000 dong and 1,175,000 dong respectively.
Although the donation is not huge, this shows the deep gratitude of Vietnamese people in general and Tinhvan in particular to Japan. All the money raised was sent to Japanese people through Japan’s Embassy in Vietnam. From this small gift, Tinhvaners wish Japan all best wishes, overcoming difficulties and disaster losses soon.
