On August 29, Ho Chi Minh City Branch of Tinhvan was honored to receive the “Vietnam ICT Gold Medal” awarded by the HCMC Computer Association. This is the 5th consecutive time Tinhvan Group has received this prestigious award.
The Awarding Ceremony was one of the series of important events of the Vietnam Consumer Digital World Expo 2012 and Workshop on Vietnam’s Panoramic Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in Vietnam held by HCMC Computer Association (HCA) from August 29 to September 02, 2012 in Vietnam.
Tinhvan Group’s 5th consecutive time to receive the Vietnam ICT Gold Medal
The Vietnam ICT Gold Medal Award was held for the first time in 1998 for the Gold Medal and in 2001 for the Top 5.
The Vietnam ICT Gold Medal Award will be ranked in order to promote, celebrate and encourage enterprises to step up activities, enhance competitive capacity, help to make ICT become a key economic sector and contribute positively to the economic growth of Ho Chi Minh City in particular and Vietnam in general.
The Gold Medal & Top 5 ICT Vietnam 2012 Awards competition has attracted the participation of many units in various fields: software, hardware, system integration services, internet telecommunications and IT training.

According to Organizing Board, difficulty of the economy and high inflation have had a very strong impact on the business environment of enterprises, creating enormous pressure and difficulties for the existence and development of enterprises in particular and ICT enterprises in general. However, the special point is Tinhvan Group has been ranked higher this year while many other enterprises fall in their rankings. This is the recognition of the Vietnam ICT community of Tinhvan Group’s contributions, is a driving force for Tinhvan Group to continue to provide market with useful products and services.
