March 13, 2013, Hanoi, Tinhvan Group and Vietnam IDG Ventures Investment Group (IDG) signed a contract to invest in Bach Kim Education Network Joint Stock – the owner of the biggest educational network in Vietnam – Violet.vn.
Under contract agreement terms, the investment by TVE and IDGVV in Bach Kim Company aimed at developing the website Violet.vn to become the leading online training in Vietnam.
Mr. Hoang To, Chairman and CEO of Tinhvan Group, said Violet.vn network has currently held the largest teacher community in Vietnam, and with over 1 million users and 4 sharable million documents, including lesson plan library, exam topics and electronic lectures. The site will be strongly integrated with the ecosystem that Tinhvan Group owns and develops.
Mr. Dinh Hai Minh, Chairman of Bach Kim Education Network JSC, said that with new investments, the new technology platform will soon be completed and soon provide more useful content services to the users, contributing to the modernized learning and self-learning process of pupils and students.
