In the afternoon of April 11th<\/sup> 2011, Physics and Youth Club Theoretic Olymiad – PYCTO 2010 was held at the hall no 24\/24 Nguyen Cong Hoan Hanoi.<\/em><\/p>\n

Professor \u2013 Doctor of Science Nguyen Van Lien gave the prize to Tran Tuyen \u2013 the winner of PYCTO 2010 <\/em><\/p>\n

This is a competition for physics-loving students at home and abroad organized by Physics and Youth magazine, Physics and Youth club and \u201cScience Exploration\u201d bookshelf under the sponsorship of Tinhvan Group.<\/p>\n

Presenting at the Award were Dr. Pham Van Thieu \u2013 Deputy Secretary of Vietnam\u2019s Physics Association, Chief Editor of Physics and Youth Magazine, Professor and Doctor of Science Nguyen Van Lien \u2013 the senior researcher of sSolid sState Physics, Nano Physics \u2013 Vietnam Institute of Physics and the representative of the sponsor – \u00a0\u00a0Tinhvan Group together with many students loving physics, participants of the PYCTO 2010 contest and members of Physics and Youth Club.<\/p>\n

After the success of the \u201cOnline theory physics \u2013 PYCTO\u201d contest in 2009, the \u201cOnline theory physics \u2013 PYCTO\u201d in 2010 continued to be held byPhysics and Youth magazine, Physics and Youth club and \u201cScience Exploration\u201d bookshelf. At the end of the contest, there were no prizes awarded for the secondary-school block. In the block of high schools, the winner was Tran Tuyen \u2013 a 12th<\/sup> grade student\u00a0 from the gifted physics class of Le Quy Don gifted high school, Quang Tri province. The runner-up was Pham Duy Khanh \u2013 a student of class 11F \u2013 Lam Son gifted high school, Thanh Hoa province. The third place was awarded \u00a0to \u00a0Ho Trong Tung \u2013 class12A3, Pham Boi Chau gifted high school, Nghe An province.<\/p>\n

The \u201cOnline Theory Physics \u2013 PYCTO\u201d is an annual contest aiming at creating an useful and interesting playground for the young absorbed in physics. Young people under 20 years old having passion for physics can take part in this contest. Thanks to its online form, all \u00a0students at home and abroad can join this competition . Participants will have to finish the tasks and send them directly to the email address of the contest. It has 3 rounds: the 1st<\/sup> round – \u00a0high-school physics exercises, the 2nd<\/sup> round – subject-related exercises and the 3rd<\/sup> round – \u00a0daily life-related exercises.<\/p>\n
