Facial Recognition Technology and Corona

As the acute respiratory disease caused by the new strain of Corona virus becomes increasingly tense, individuals and businesses are more aware of protecting their own health and preventing infection. One of the transmission routes of the Covid-19 virus (nCoV) is through contact with surfaces such as wood, stone, iron, steel, fabric, etc. When touching contaminated surfaces and then touching the eyes, nose, or mouth, we can become infected.
To limit the risk of this spread, the HiFACE facial recognition solution, implemented by Tinh Van Digital Transformation Center – Tinhvan Digital, has been applied in timekeeping at many enterprises in Vietnam, and is also contributing to the fight against the flu epidemic caused by the Covid-19 virus (nCoV). Specifically, HiFACE will recognize employees' faces and record them in the system, replacing the old method of fingerprint timekeeping. In the fingerprint timekeeping method, hundreds to thousands of fingers must touch and scan through the timekeeping machine to be recorded. But with HiFACE, employees only need to stand in front of the camera, even wearing a mask – an indispensable item when going outside – HiFACE still recognizes them and takes only about 1 second to be identified and recorded in the timekeeping system. Thus, HiFACE has made timekeeping faster and safer during the epidemic season. Please refer to the following clip:
The HiFACE solution is currently being used in large corporations such as Unilever, Sun Group, etc. Small businesses or even individuals can also use it for their homes with the product model on the "cloud". Learn more about the HiFACE solution at hiface.vn
