Early Year Meeting of the IT – Telecom Industry in Ho Chi Minh City

The “Early Year Meeting of the Information Technology – Telecommunications (IT-Telecom) Industry of Ho Chi Minh City in 2014” took place at 8:00 AM on Friday, February 28, 2014, at the Rex Hotel, HCMC. During this meeting, Ho Chi Minh City also launched two projects: “Home Business Registration Service” and “Electronic ISO Implementation”, announced 07 outstanding events of the IT-Telecom industry in 2013, signed cooperation to deploy e-government software systems, and rewarded outstanding units and individuals.
The traditional “Early Year Meeting” conference of the IT-Telecom industry, chaired by the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee and organized by the City Department of Information and Communications, has become increasingly meaningful, affirming the determination to promote IT application in state management in the city. This is a good opportunity for state management agencies and IT enterprises to meet, exchange, and share IT application models to optimize state management activities.
Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Director of Tinh Van Branch in Ho Chi Minh City represented Tinh Van Group at this event. Speaking during the discussion and exchange session, the representative of Tinh Van Group expressed the desire to cooperate with Ho Chi Minh City in implementing the task of “fundamental and comprehensive innovation in education and training so that students learn lightly but absorb the most knowledge” assigned by the City People's Committee to the Department of Education and Training. At 4:00 PM the same day, at Van Thanh Park, there was also a gathering of the IT-Telecom community organized by the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association along with IT-Telecom associations in the Southern region.
