TVG Communications Director Re-elected as Head of VINASA Inspection Board

On April 23-24, 2016, the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) for the 2016-2020 term was held in Hanoi. Mr. Phan Quang Minh, Communications Director of Tinh Van Group and Director of Tinh Van Ho Chi Minh City Branch, was re-elected as Head of the Inspection Board of VINASA for the 4th term. During this Congress, Mr. Phan Quang Minh was also honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Information and Communications.
The 4th VINASA Congress was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam, leaders of Party and State agencies, ministries, sectors, localities, international organizations that are partners of VINASA, and hundreds of delegates representing member enterprises.
The 4th VINASA Congress reviewed and evaluated the results of activities and organizational development during the 3rd term, commended units and individuals with outstanding achievements in association activities and contributions to the industry's development, and set goals, directions, and tasks for the Association in the new term. The Congress also elected the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, President, Vice Presidents, General Secretary, and Inspection Board for the 4th term (2016-2020).
In recent years, VINASA has made many breakthrough innovations in policy advocacy and consulting, established the Vietnam Software Industry Development Policy Advisory Council, the Thinh Tank strategic advisory group, actively participated in policy consulting with Party, National Assembly, and Government agencies, and made important contributions to improving the policy environment for IT development in Vietnam. For these achievements, President Tran Dai Quang signed a decision to award VINASA the Second-Class Labor Order. Also within the framework of the Congress, the Minister of Information and Communications awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals for outstanding contributions to the development of Vietnam's Information and Communications Technology industry, including Mr. Phan Quang Minh – Head of VINASA Inspection Board, Communications Director of Tinh Van Group and Director of Tinh Van Ho Chi Minh City Branch.

The Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA) was established in April 2002 with 55 initial members. After 14 years of development and growth through 3 Congresses, VINASA now has 323 member enterprises. VINASA members include most of the leading companies in the industry, accounting for about 65% of the total workforce and contributing 70% of the revenue of Vietnam's software and IT services industry.
