Libol 5.0 accompanies Nguyen Tat Thanh University Library

Recently, the new, modern library of Nguyen Tat Thanh University has officially been put into use. This is a multi-functional library with a wide range of books, reading rooms, spacious and well-equipped common learning areas, self-study zones, sports facilities, and a rich reference collection.
Currently, the library's collection includes approximately 11,484 titles/51,884 copies, over 50 newspapers and magazines updated daily and supplemented continuously throughout the year. In addition to regular periodical and annual additions of books and documents, the library also builds an electronic document bank by digitizing databases in Vietnamese and foreign languages to meet the needs of students, lecturers, and staff.
In particular, to manage the library and search for publication information, the university uses the Libol 5.0 software from Tinh Van Group.
Documents are organized scientifically according to the Dewey Decimal Classification, making it easy for students, staff, and lecturers to search. The diverse and rich collection covers the fields of study offered at the university: Health Sciences, Economics, Engineering & Technology, Social Sciences & Humanities, and Fine Arts & Arts. Additionally, the library focuses on adding many materials for developing soft skills for students.
The library has partnered with several libraries in Ho Chi Minh City, such as the Library of the Institute of Social Sciences, the General Science Library, the Library of Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology and Education, and the Library of Construction College No. 2.
Diverse domestic and international online databases are available, and Wi-Fi coverage extends across the entire campus. The spacious, quiet, and quality-standard space is divided into multiple areas, allowing students and lecturers to freely choose and comfortably use the facilities, thereby stimulating creative thinking and generating many ideas for learning and research.
The library is open from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM (Monday to Friday) and 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM (Saturday). In the self-study room, the university provides bean bags for students to feel comfortable, relaxed, and at ease while studying without fatigue. The self-study area significantly contributes to enhancing students' self-learning abilities, promoting initiative and self-discipline in their studies, and serves as a place for young people to exchange and share life experiences.
The Information Center – Library of Nguyen Tat Thanh University is also a place for young people to exercise and improve physical fitness. The multi-purpose gym is designed in an airy space, fully equipped with modern, quality-standard equipment such as treadmills, exercise bikes, and abdominal machines.
The library features a spacious, modern conference room equipped with a sound system and projector, enabling students to organize extracurricular activities such as seminars and presentations to practice soft skills.
In addition to Nguyen Tat Thanh University Library, Libol has also been used at many major libraries nationwide, such as the General Science Library of Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi Library, the Library of the National Assembly Office, Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Dalat University, and the National Economics University.
