Parents’ Day – A Celebration of Gratitude for TVO-ers' Parents

The TVO Parents’ Day reunion event – a day dedicated to the parents of TVO-ers – will officially be held as an expression of gratitude and a chance for Tinh Van employees to share their feelings with their parents and loved ones.
Frequent overtime and onsite assignments are a common reality for engineers working in outsourcing and software development for international partners. At Tinh Van Group, TVO (Tinhvan Outsourcing) is a unit with such characteristics, simultaneously serving clients in many countries around the world: Japan, Singapore, the USA, and more.
When clients are on the other side of the globe, their working hours are our sleeping hours. As a result, TVO’s software engineers may have to stay awake to accompany their clients. Moreover, every project has TVO-ers who must travel to work at partner offices for months or years at a time. They have less time for their families than others and must work in unfamiliar lands, thousands of kilometers away from home. They greatly need the understanding and support of their loved ones to excel in their tasks. For this reason, the TVO Parents’ Day reunion event – a day for the parents of TVO-ers – will officially be held as an expression of gratitude and a chance for Tinh Van employees to share their feelings with their parents and loved ones.
TVO Parents’ Day will be held on February 7, 2015.
In Vietnam, besides FPT, Tinh Van is the second company to organize this meaningful activity for the families of its software export employees. The desire to do meaningful things for the loved ones and families of employees is a wish shared by all business leaders, but turning it into a concrete activity is not simple.
For TVO, most members come from regions far from the capital. Many parents of TVO-ers live in rural areas, unfamiliar with computers and the Internet. But no matter where they are, parents surely want their children to succeed and have the right to know where their children work, what the working conditions are like, and if their children cannot spend much time with family, they want to know the reason. Therefore, TVO Parents’ Day will be an opportunity for them to understand the nature of their children's work, thereby confidently supporting them and feeling even prouder of their children.
In Vietnam, besides FPT, Tinh Van is the second company to organize Parents’ Day.
At this event, parents will tour the company office, meet and share with company leaders, hear reports and summaries of the company's activities over the past year, and the work plan for 2015. They will also talk with their children to better understand their work and the Tinh Van environment. These will surely be immensely meaningful moments that every family wishes to have.
We hope that this event will mark the beginning of many meaningful activities by Tinh Van employees dedicated to their parents, spreading a message of love to all who still have their parents. Wishing TVO Parents’ Day to be warm and full of family affection!
