The member units and departments participating in this internal assessment round include Tinh Van Telecom Joint Stock Company – Tinhvan Telecom (TVT), the Software Solutions and System Integration Center – Tinhvan Solution (TVS), the Human Resources and Administration Department, the Information Systems Department, and the Accounting Department.
After many days of serious work, the assessment team, led by Ms. Le Phan Viet Ha – Head of QMD, including QMD members and experts who are members of the Company's Board of Directors (BOD), achieved many positive results.
With the main goal of continuous improvement, from the assessment organization method to the assessment implementation method, focusing mainly on accounting-related processes and core processes of the departments, the assessment recorded 52 out of 68 proposals approved by the BOD and included in the company's quality objectives. Notable issues in the assessment include: Adding a dedicated accountant position for each center; accountants participating in the negotiation process for contracts valued over 4 billion VND; building a training matrix by position; deploying PC software for project management and timesheet reporting; integrating PQA into projects...
By simultaneously implementing three standards: ISO 9001:2008, ISO/IEC 27001:2005, and CMMI 3, Tinh Van Group demonstrates its commitment to an appropriate, adequate, and effective Management System. One of the key things to maintain is conducting internal assessment activities to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the Management System's functions as defined, and to identify weak links in the System as well as potential opportunities for improvement. Internal assessment serves as a feedback mechanism for Top Management, providing assurance to the BOD and other interested parties that the system meets the requirements of the Quality System.
It is expected that at the end of July, there will be an integrated surveillance assessment of ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 by DAS/UKAS, and by October 2011, Tinh Van Group will conduct the second internal assessment round.
