Tinh Van Group Successfully Maintains CMMI Level 3

After a week of assessment, on September 19, 2016, a team of experts from ECCI – the authorized unit of the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) – confirmed that the software production quality management process at Tinhvan Group meets CMMI Level 3 standards.
The assessment team, led by Lead Appraiser Mr. Teenu Puri, certified by the SEI (Software Engineering Institute), along with the Quality Management Department, project teams, and relevant departments of Tinh Van, worked for nearly a month to review, evaluate, and propose improvements to the entire software production quality management process at Tinh Van. After a week of work, based on the CMMI Standard Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI), Tinh Van was confirmed by ECCI to fully satisfy the CMMI Level 3 criteria.
The official CMMI certification appraisal process at Tinh Van took place from September 14 to 19, 2016.

CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) is a certification for assessing the maturity of software production processes, developed by the Software Engineering Institute (SEI) of the United States. This certification is globally recognized, determining the capability maturity level of companies in software development and related services.
On November 2, 2016, Tinh Van officially received the certificate from ECCI.
Tinh Van's software production process and related services have met CMMI Level 3 standards since 2010, were successfully re-assessed in 2013, and have been re-assessed again recently. To date, only about 20 out of thousands of IT enterprises in Vietnam have achieved this certification.
