Tinh Van Group Receives the 6th ICT Award

On November 8, 2014, the 6th Ho Chi Minh City Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Award ceremony took place at the Quang Trung Software Park Hall. Tinh Van Technology Joint Stock Company (Tinhvan Group), with its Digital Library solution – Libol 6.0, became one of the enterprises to receive this year's award.
The Ho Chi Minh City ICT Award is organized annually by the City People's Committee. It is a prestigious award in the ICT field, presented to agencies, organizations, enterprises, and individuals with outstanding products, services, and achievements contributing to the city's ICT development. This year's award attracted 47 participating dossiers from individuals and enterprises, of which 17 were recommended by the expert panel for award consideration in six categories: Enterprises with outstanding software products and solutions; Enterprises with outstanding hardware products; Enterprises providing outstanding value-added services; Units with outstanding ICT applications; Units and individuals with excellent achievements contributing to the city's ICT development; and ICT students with outstanding research and academic achievements.

Participating in this year's award with the Digital Library solution – Libol, Tinhvan Group became one of four units to receive the award for "Enterprise with Outstanding Software Solutions and Products." Researched and developed since 1997 by Tinhvan Group, Libol has become the first domestic software to enter the field of library management system development, with the most successful integrated library management capabilities in Vietnam. After 17 years of development and continuous improvement, Libol is now used by over 300 customers and has been practically tested in many leading agencies in library information activities such as the National Agency for Science and Technology Information (National Agency for Science and Technology Information), Ho Chi Minh City General Science Library, Vietnam National University, Hanoi...
Since the award was first organized in 2008, Tinhvan Group has continuously received the Ho Chi Minh City ICT Award over the years with many outstanding products such as: I-Portal Solutions; HiStaff Human Resource Management Solution; Digital Library solution – Libol... In addition, with many strong technological imprints and being a pioneer in many technology trends and IT products, making important contributions not only to the IT industry but also to all other socio-economic activities, Tinh Van has also received the Gold Medal for Vietnam Software Enterprise awarded by the Ho Chi Minh City Computer Association from 2008 to the present.
With the receipt of the 6th Ho Chi Minh City ICT Award, Tinh Van once again affirms its position and sustainable development in the field of solutions and software. At the same time, this result demonstrates the correctness and efforts of Tinh Van in focusing resources on development in Ho Chi Minh City – the most potential market in Vietnam.
