Tinh Van Group sponsors publication of the book 'Modern Physics'

On April 26 in Hanoi, at the Hall of the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations, Tinh Van Group coordinated with the Tri Thuc Publishing House to organize a seminar introducing the book 'Modern Physics: Current Issues from Big Bounce to the Holographic Universe' by Professor Cao Chi.

'Modern Physics: Current Issues from Big Bounce to the Holographic Universe' is the latest among Professor Cao Chi's many scientific works in the field of physics, published by Tri Thuc Publishing House in April 2011 with the support of Tinh Van Group. This is an intriguing work that provides an overview of the most fundamental knowledge of modern physics, addressing the interrelationship between physics and other fields such as biology, philosophy, and art.
The seminar, besides the presence of two speakers—Professor Cao Chi and translator Pham Van Thieu, along with Professor Chu Hao, Director of Tri Thuc Publishing House—was also a gathering and sharing among a large number of friends, researchers from various fields, those who admire and respect Professor Cao Chi, students from many generations, and family members.
During the seminar, Professor Cao Chi presented in detail the content of the book 'Modern Physics: Current Issues from Big Bounce to the Holographic Universe' and its notable key arguments. Aiming to help readers from different fields easily approach modern physics issues, the book provides an overview of the most fundamental, important, and current knowledge of modern physics. In particular, the holographic approach helps unify gravity and quantum mechanics, and more broadly provides a consistent view of all phenomena in physics, biology, pathology, psychology, and parapsychology. Besides unified theories, the book also addresses symmetry in science, art, and the relationship between physics, religion, and biology.
The book consists of 4 parts with 9 chapters and various sections. Additionally, there are appendices and references printed after each section for easy reference. New terms and abbreviations are explained within the section or in the notes after each section. At the end of the book, there is an index and it is illustrated with many images to make reading more interesting and easier to understand.
The book received much attention from the guests, with a series of questions raised and answered by Professor Cao Chi. Professor Cao Chi is currently a Vietnamese scientific collaborator at the Joint Institute for Nuclear Research in Dubna (1963-1968); a senior expert at the Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology, Vietnam Atomic Energy Institute (1968-1995); author of many scientific works on symmetry, gravity, and application of geometry to field theory; many articles on nuclear energy and science popularization published in journals; and overviews in two proceedings published by Tri Thuc Publishing House.
With the passion for physics of Tinh Van Group's founders, since its establishment, Tinh Van Group has always paid special attention to this field, as reflected in the name 'Tinh Van'. Tinh Van Group regularly sponsors the Physics and Youth Club, physics competitions, prints yearly calendars with themes related to physics and astronomy, and most recently collaborated to publish Professor Cao Chi's book. Although not operating in the field of physics, Tinh Van Group always accompanies and supports in many ways, hoping that this theoretical science will continue to develop in Vietnam.
