Tinh Van Group Successfully Passes ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 Assessment

On June 26 and 27, 2012, Tinh Van Group completed the recertification assessment of the Quality Management System (QMS) ISO 9001:2008 (formerly ISO 9001:2000) and the second surveillance of the Information Security Management System according to ISO/IEC 27001:2005, conducted by the certification body DAS-UKAS of the United Kingdom.

Mr. Quach Thach Thi, lead assessor, announced the team's conclusion, affirming that Tinh Van Group had successfully passed the ISO 9001:2008 recertification and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 surveillance. The expert team was particularly impressed with several improvement activities in 2012, such as customer satisfaction assessment and PC software deployment. The team also confirmed that the company's quality management and information security system is truly a "living system – with many improvement activities."

Tinh Van Group was officially awarded the ISO 9001:2000 certificate in 2006 (now ISO 9001:2008), the ISO 9001:2008 certificate in 2009, and the ISO/IEC 27001:2005 certificate in 2010.

Since then, Tinh Van Group has effectively operated this system and has been recognized by the DAS assessment team: Tinh Van Group's management system fully complies with and meets the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and ISO/IEC 27001:2005 standards.

Tinh Van Group always aims to reach international standards. Therefore, from the beginning, Tinh Van Group's process framework has been built on a combination of actual work requirements and international standards. In addition to the ISO QMS, since 2010, Tinh Van Group has officially achieved CMMI Level 3 certification.
