Using Classbook in a Model Lesson

Within the framework of the "Model Lesson" program launched by the Department of Education and Training of Ba Dinh District, Hanoi, Thuc Nghiem Primary and Secondary School organized a model lesson for the first time with the support of two versions of the Classbook electronic textbook for students and teachers.

The selected model lesson was an English class for grade 7. During the 45-minute lesson, four groups of students from class 7D at Thuc Nghiem Primary and Secondary School presented their English presentations on social projects they had carried out. Each presentation initially demonstrated the students' understanding of planning and exploring the social life around them, with research topics such as: Classroom Cleaning Project, Helping Orphaned Children at Bo De Pagoda... The assignments also showcased the students' fluent and confident English communication skills.
A special feature of the model lesson was that all presentations were conducted by the teacher and groups using Classbook.
The Classbook version for teachers, a new product of the Educational Electronic Book Joint Stock Company (EDC), helped teachers connect directly with students' Classbooks, carry out group work support activities such as sharing materials, automatically aggregating scores, and connecting directly to projection devices to return results.

The presentation session was the result of project-based learning (PBL) educational activities and the application of IT to optimize teaching effectiveness, which the foreign language teachers at Thuc Nghiem Primary and Secondary School had researched and implemented for students recently.
Participating in the program were nearly 40 teachers who are heads of English departments from schools across Ba Dinh and Dong Da districts, along with representatives from EDC.
Teacher Ngoc Tram from Ba Dinh Secondary School shared, "The students did very well, confidently and professionally. I was impressed by how they designed and used slides to support their presentations in a very creative and reasonable way."
