TVT launches new project with NTT Docomo

On June 15-16, 2016, representatives of NTT Docomo Digital Asia Pacific visited and worked with Tinh Van Telecom Joint Stock Company (Tinhvan Telecom – TVT). The two sides discussed and exchanged ideas about an educational project to be jointly implemented in the near future.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Bui Van Kien – CEO of TVT, Mr. Filippo Giachi – Director of Asia Pacific Region, NTT Docomo Digital, and Ms. Chelsea Tan – Director of Southeast Asia Region, NTT Docomo Digital.
After Gami5, in 2016, NTT Docomo Digital plans to continue cooperating with TVT to implement an educational solution for young children. Drawing on successful global experience, especially in European countries, NTT Docomo Digital hopes to expand successfully into Vietnam. Running on Android and iOS platforms, the solution is highly entertaining and educational, with all content advised by psychologists, diverse and carefully selected. The solution has received two award certifications: Safe for Children App and Top Choice for Mothers.

This is a promising cooperation opportunity in Vietnam, as the number of specialized applications for children under 12 years old currently accounts for only a small proportion, about 5-6% of the total existing applications. This market can be further exploited with 7.5 million children, 6 million tablets, and 34 million smartphones in existence.
